Brand Identity, Graphic Design
CORTE is a furniture and interior project based in Northern Italy, developed within a courtyard house where objects are introduced in response to the existing space. The building remains partially unresolved, with visible layers of use, material variation, and structural constraints informing each intervention. Rather than forming a predefined collection, the project evolves through placement and use. Tables, seating, and storage elements are added where needed, shaped by their position, the way they are used, and the conditions of the space over time. The identity is built to reflect this approach. Instead of a fixed branding system, it operates as a framework for documentation. Objects are defined by their location, numbered sequentially, and presented through a consistent structure that prioritizes context over product. A simple square composed of dots is used as a recurring marker. Derived from a basic grid, it acts both as a logotype and as a system to indicate different areas within the space, adapting subtly to reference locations such as the entry, the courtyard, or the north wall. The result is not a conventional brand, but a system that allows the project to grow while maintaining continuity between space, object, and representation.
